“Angel Favazza’s writing illuminates the human condition with a bright beam of technology and casts doubt on our ability to cope with our future. With Orwellian brushstrokes she paints a future every bit as questioning and bleak as that which Winston Smith faced, and makes us question ourselves in the ways we employ technology toward solving difficulties of our everyday lives. And like Orwell, she leaves it up to us as to whether we want it that way.”
Warren Hecht, Creative Writing Professor, University of Michigan
“Saving Death is an exciting coming of age, sci-fi YA book set on Zar 5. Dramatic and intense, this story is skillfully written and flows at a brisk pace, the intensity, and anticipation building a compelling story arc that snowballs to an unexpected and electrifying conclusion. With engaging characters and a unique setting. I recommend this book to everyone from twelve years old on up who enjoys speculative fiction and dystopian stories!”

“A strong voice. And a fresh approach to science fiction. Dogs in space? Odd. Well maybe, but Favazza’s short story collection, Canine Chronicles could be called supernatural sci-fi, coming of age, or even a good road trip book depending on how you choose to view it. Regardless of genre it is certainly creative and entertaining! Favazza offers us worlds that are both familiar and unfamiliar, filled with alien encounters, puppies we love, and human heart.”
