“With over 30 years of experience teaching AP English Literature and a Master’s degree in Teaching, plus 15 postgraduate credits, I have spent my career guiding students through the power of storytelling and the depth of literary analysis. My passion for literature extends beyond the classroom into my own writing, where I explore themes of language, identity, and the enduring relevance of classic works.
As a speaker and writer, I bring a deep appreciation for the written word, blending my expertise in education with a love for crafting compelling narratives. Whether analyzing classical works or creating my own, I am always seeking ways to connect readers with the transformative power of literature.”
“Based in Michigan, I share my home (and probably my favorite reading spot) with the love of my life, our incredible eco-hero daughter, and a small menagerie that includes two mischievous Havanese brothers and an exotic cat who undoubtedly believes she runs the place.
When I’m not writing, reading, or teaching, I’m off exploring the world—most recently Iceland, Costa Rica, and England, with Ireland, Scotland, and France on the horizon. I also have a passion for flower photography, capturing the quiet beauty of blooms wherever I go. In between, my pets keep me properly supervised and remind me who’s really in charge.”

"As both a teacher and a writer, I believe that every page we turn and every word we craft is a bridge between understanding and expression. Writing is not just an art; it is a conversation across time, inviting us to listen, reflect, and respond."
